Information
Rise of Tyrants is a virtual army command game played right from your web browser. You use your computer or
iPhone, your brain, and occasionally a calculator to play. The objective is to have fun, and get to the highest rank you
can before the reset.
This is a
turn based game, and there is currently one active game running turns
every 5 seconds. Whenever a turn passes, every army gets more
gold (money), more
soldiers (to hold weapons
and make gold), and occasionally more
attack turns, which are your army's basic tokens needed for any action. It
takes attack turns to make use of your army, e.g. to
attack armies to steal gold,
spy on armies to gather
intelligence or steal treasure chests, or to
kamikaze your enemies and cause them damage.
Integrated
messaging, a
shoutbox on every page, a nice quiet
IRC channel, and newly organized
forums
make up most of the community. Players can play on their own without the support of any friends or allies. However, to
enjoy the full breadth of the game's community, we recommend you team up with
officers (by sending your recruit
link out and inviting new players to the game) or
alliances (a group of players that are already in the game,
that come together to show unity)
There aren't a lot of graphics - this is mostly a
numbers game. Most
of the adventure is left to your imagination.
The best part of all is that the game doesn't take a whole lot
of time to learn and play. Anyone of any age can do it!
