In Memory Of SLPinStory
We have been brought down by Asiasoft and Nexon.I received a lawyer letter from them on 26/2/09.
I thank all of you for your support towards the server.
We had fun we had events we fought each other i banned some hackers and rude people.
Yeah it has been a long way. within few months of our birth we shot up to rank 3 in xtremetop100.
Although i do not know why the lawyer letter came now ( i already shut the server 1month ago due to lack of funds) .
Please accept my deepest apologies for not informing any of you and the closure in advance.
You guys must be fighting zakumn not knowing it was your last battle. haha. Well i also duno why our dedicated server gave us 2days for free.
Those of you who donated, thank you for making SLPinStory survive for others to enjoy.
Well the birth of this server wasnt even on intention. haha.
Those of you who are interested, i will write the story below.

The SLPinStory Story

Well, i was ex-GM of Utherms and deathms. deathms closed due to some problems with his server codes.
therefore me and a few of their players got together on hamachi chat and
decided we try to make a server. whoever suceeds then we play whose. (note that ALL of us didnt know wtf is java code).
so we went to browse around for the server files and
tried. all of them failed only mine succeeded. so they all came to play(back then it was hosted on my com with hamachi), around 7 of them.
Yep SLPinStory started with 8 players.
Words started to spread and soon my classmates and friend started to play.
friend spread to friend and fried friend spread to friend friend's friend and so on =p.
Then i registered my server in xtremetop100 and opened it up to public.
The main intention of the server was actually just for me and a few of my friends to play until deathms went
back up. I never expected it to be so successful. Unlike other top servers, they have a team of coders and developer.
For SLPinStory, im the coder, the developer , the admin ,
the forum admin. everything is just me. haha. yet we got to rank 3.
btw i did NOT know about all these consequences about making a private server, if i knew, maybe SLPinStory
wouldnt have existed ><.
Well, nevertheless, i have gained many things in this journey, apart from the lawyer letter =.= , i gained many good friends, a really good stead
(babydesire, although we broke up already), java coding knowledge, leadership qualities, website development and designing, html and php coding, human relations ,
financial planning and many more things which cannot be bought with money(yes, the lawyer letter cannot be bought with money too >< ) .
